The 7th Meeting of the INTERNATIONAL MEDITERRANEAN SOCIETY OF ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY was held at the Makedonia Palace
Hotel in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 22-24 March 2018. It was organised in
collaboration with the HELLENIC
INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC INSTITUTE - AMFIKTIONIES and the PAN ARAB ORTHOPAEDIC
ASSOCIATION.
The

The program
consisted of 35 oral presentations, 28 E-posters, 26 round tables, 12 lectures,
1 Symposium and a total of 146 speakers.
A series of productive
discussions at this scientific event, born through the exchange of
knowledge between medical personnel from different specialties, will
contribute to the improvement of patient follow-up outcomes.
In other words, the conference
agenda revealed how
diverse orthopaedics are, but the field’s long standing interactions with other
disciplines, an indispensable element of modern medicine.
During the
3-day programme, the scientific presentations by leading experts provided a
perfect amalgam of novel orthopaedic therapeutic techniques that could be
transferred to the operating room.
The outcome
paved ways to new therapy approaches that could raise hope for our patients.
